The grey murky sky blessed its presence into a small simple wooden framed window. The fresh air caressed the rotten stench of the old wooden furniture as the breezes of saltwater immerge into the air as she carefully pushed the windows open. Her pale skin reflects the remaining light from the cloaked sky into her room. She stood briefly, gazing out side of her dull window, and then strolled towards the dilapidated door. Lugubriously, the doorknob hung onto the door loosely with a rusty, deformed coating as she reached towards it. The creaking sound of rusty hinges pierced through her eardrums violently, but, like always her face remained bland and still. As she stepped out of her room, she entered world of darkness. A spec of light glistened towards the left hand side of where she stood like the light that shorn down a bottomless well .Letting the light attract her, her found herself at the top of a stair case. The wooden dilapidated staircase cringed towards her as she thumped her barefoot upon the steps. “Hey”, a voice pierce thought the silence of the room. Her heart beated rapidly likes a machine gun when she heard a voice. She swung her head around towards the voice noticing the fact that it was Lillianna. Her heartbeat fell back normal to find that it was only Lillianna. Lillianna sneaked a smile towards her mouth as she said relief “It nice to see you out of your room”. She smiled back and talked towards a chair and a table that was duplication around the room. She sat next to a large window that hammered down a crepuscule light from the sky. She stared outside of the window but to only see the abandoned stores of: cafés, flouriest and houses. The barricaded windows left the town with a ghost –like feeling .Lillianna walked toward her from a small bar that stood in front of her and sat directly across the table with two cups of coffee in a plain white English cup with a blue strip that circled the edge of the cup. She placed one carefully in front of her as the steam swirled into the air. “I made you coffee” Lilianna said hopefully. Conversation lacked for a minute until her head moved slowly towards Lillianna. “How can you talk with such emotions in your voice despite, the situation we’re in?” she questioned. “It’s simple” Lillianna replied with a smile, “I still have you, Essie” .She chuckled quietly” you don’t even know me. Or my name. What makes you think that you can trust me? Lillianna smiled faded and whispered “Because you’re the only one who is here, and I don’t want to be alone.”
